“Our house was built in 1979 on the top of a mountain. It was definitely 1970s colors and textures – complete with earth tones and carpet. My husband and I have said for a long time that we wanted to build a log cabin for our retirement home. We started going to log home shows plus we began buying log home magazines. After learning of half log siding, we decided to turn our house into a log home.
Our remodel project began in July 2007 and was completed by fall. We were very pleased with the quality of work that Harding Custom Homes did for us. They always made sure that we liked everything, and if we didn't, they changed things without hesitation. We really enjoyed working with all the guys. I love everything about our ‘new’ log home especially the heart pine floors, the den ceiling, the rock work, and the front porch!”
