“Our house was built in 1979 on the top of a mountain. It was definitely 1970s colors and textures – complete with earth tones and carpet. My husband and I have said for a long time that we wanted to build a log cabin for our retirement home. We started going to log home shows plus we began buying log home magazines. After learning of half log siding, we decided to turn our house into a log home.

The structure of this 2300 sq foot home was sound; however, nothing had been done over the past 40 years to update the appliances or interior appearance. We had about 8 weeks to transform this home from sleeping caterpillar to brilliant butterfly.

We converted an existing open-air porch to a sunroom to increase living space for the homeowner. Now, no matter the season, the homeowner can use this sunroom to exercise, read, take a nap, host family functions, or simply enjoy the view.

This was our first home started in the coastal region. Like most homes on the coast, the biggest challenge was building it 10 feet off the ground and engineering it to withstand hurricane force winds. We drew our plans based on our ideal beach house, combining elements from other houses. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath home is a little gem. Not overly done, it’s the perfect place to unwind at the beach.

This 1,980 square foot home is 2-story with all living space on the first floor. It has an open, light floor plan that lends itself to smooth-flowing transitions and harmony throughout. The best feature of this home is the intricate detail and trim showcased throughout the home.

To create the perfect master bath for the homeowner, we added space by removing walls, replaced the tub, added a shower, his and her vanities, walk-in closet, heated tile, and heated towel rack.

We added composite decking, roof, and handrails to an existing home. For a totally maintenance free porch, we also added vinyl boxing. Now, the homeowner can enjoy great views of his pond from the comfort of his new porch.

This home improvement project began with a 2100 square feet unfinished basement. It had pre-formed concrete exterior walls and a few interior walls for support. We added 2 bedrooms, a home theater, billiard room, wet bar, bathroom, exercise room, and foyer. Essentially, we added a home under the existing home. In my opinion, the best features of this home renovation are the arches and trim.
